George Hopper Death Row Inmate Execution

George Anderson Hopper was executed in March 2005. Here is his statement to the Gaililunas family: 

"I have made a lot of mistakes in my life. The things I did changed so many lives. I can't take it back. It was an atrocity. I am sorry. I beg your forgiveness. I know I am not worthy of it,"  

After he made the following statement he turned to his own parents and family who looking on that he loved them.  He said a prayer with mother, took a few deep breaths, and died.
